It’s half past RFH reunion time and the pandemic has kept classmates’ summertime gatherings at bay.
RFH reunions always involve close encounters, gab festing, food, drink, and everything but distancing. After all, that’s what reunions are for, right? Well, not this year.
There’s usually a string of reunions happening at different summer times, starting with that classic first reunion, the 10th.
The RFH Class of ‘79, last year, ‘78, the year before, and several before them, got their 40th (ouch) reunions in. And all were well-attended.
Though, it’s a banner non-reunion year for the RFH Class of 80. COVID cancelled those close encounter plans. Though, we hear something is in the works to ensure the big reunion festivity happens at some point.
No dancing or prancing for that class right now. So, while it may not be a 40th gala, the RFH Class of ‘78 offers up a glimpse into the mood of those moon dance kinda reunion times with this look back.
For this particular reunion, Donovan’s Reef was closed due to Superstorm Sandy destruction for the usual “night before” get together, so classmates took to a little cavorting, dancing and whatever else somewhere else in Sea Bright.
Know where these dancing fools were getting light on their reunion “No place like home” feet?
