Rainy days and Wednesdays getting you down? Nothing like compounding the rainy day doldrums. Well, if the mood fits … reminisce about the old days as a Junior Lounge lizard at RFH.
We say lizard, because while some took advantage of the weather to stick their noses in books, others, still, took to pranking and antsy rainy day antics. So, while yesterday’s Retro Pic of the Day was the picture of calm, albeit possible mischief brewing, in the lounge, today’s is about all-out crazy kid syndrome. Think potential food fight. Hmmmm …
You’ve seen these junior clowns before.
So, here they are again. It’s worth a reprise to muse about what exactly they, or most juniors, were up to on a typical stuck-indoors day at RFH. These juniors are from the RFH Class of ’79, lounging on a free and far less comfortable chairs than the seniors’ bean bags and sunken floors.
They didn’t seem to mind — what with all those fine beverages and donuts they were apparently feasting on and contemplating flinging.
Know anyone here? What’s for lunch? What were they up to? The cafeteria was (and still is) right up the stairs. Our bet is a food fight. What did you use in your best food fight? Remember the straw wrapper worm? Hey, they can’t suspend us now!
Thanks, once again. to George Day for this fabulous peek back into the past!
