Historically, the night before Thanksgiving has always been known as the biggest partying night out of the year. It has also been fraught with a marked increase in DWI-related incidents. So, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force is conducting a DWI checkpoint on that night.

This year, the checkpoint is set for Wednesday night in Howell.
The DWI Checkpoint Details …
On Wednesday night, starting at 11 p.m. and running through 3 a.m., all vehicles headed north on Route 9 in Howell will be diverted into the Regal Plaza.
There, Howell police and Task Force members will screen drivers for sobriety.
