“During the last year of his life, Doug bravely battled brain cancer with the support of his loving family.  He embraced life with kindness, integrity, generosity and adventure. Doug cherished every second he was able to spend doing the things he loved most, which included fishing with his son, biking, and playing hockey. Doug loved an adventure and experiencing new places, especially those that had good fishing. Doug was beloved and cherished by all those who knew him.

In his personal life, Doug was a devoted, loving husband to his beautiful wife of 28 years, Cindy, and a caring and dedicated father to their son, John …
He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, and will be greatly missed.”
