In Memoriam: Red Bank Resident Mary Zemann, 69

Red Bank resident Mary Zemann passed away on May 5. She was 69.

Born Mary Belmonte in South Amboy, Mary most recently lived in Red Bank. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in South Amboy and Caldwell College in Caldwell.

“Mary was a devout Catholic and taught for many years at St. Francis Grammar School in Metuchen. Upon retirement, Mary spent her time tutoring children with disabilities.”

Mary is predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Mary Claire Belmonte; and her nephews, Shane and Patrick Taylor.

She is survived by: her daughter, Hayley Zemann, and her father, Steve; brother, Joseph Belmonte, and his wife, Carol and their daughters, Bree, spouse Gavin Biggs, and children, Freddie and Blair; Celia and spouse. Patrick Bussard. and their daughter, Palmer; brother, John Belmonte and his wife, Betsy, and their children, Chris and Laura, spouse Kyle and son, Jack; sister, Patti Taylor, and children R.J. Paige and spouse Karl Herwig.
