Longtime Rumsonite, Leslie Ann Parent, more recently of Red Bank, passed away on Dec. 24. She was 82.
Born on November 5, 1942, in New York, she resided in Rumson for more than 40 years with her husband, Arthur Francis Parent, and their children.
She attended Ithaca College and graduated from C.W. Post College in Brookville, NY.
She was predeceased by: her husband, Arthur Francis Parent; and her parents, Leslie Hugh and Emily Ricardi Hornsby.
Leslie is survived by: her daughter, Alison Parent Maloney (Thomas), of Rumson, and her son, Arthur F. Parent; her grandchildren, Wade and Tess Maloney; her brother, Edward Wade Hornsby, and sister-in-law Mary Hornsby; her cousin, Marion O’Shea; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Grace Parent; her nephews, Peter, Michael, and Todd Parent; nieces, Samantha Walravens and Stephanie Nesmith.
A mass of christian burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 30 Ward Avenue, Rumson, NJ 07760. Interment will be private.
