Loved ones of Jose Perez in his obituary
“The little GIANT of our family is an enormous loss for us all. We all have so many fond memories of him from 34 years of cooking at Sal’s Tavern to endless hours spent on the porch at 41 Locust Avenue to watching baseball games and raising pigeons and rabbits.
“The man worked hard and gave us all the best childhood memories and stayed with us through adulthood. We were all blessed to have him for as long as we did. We are all so fortunate to have had him for 88 years.”
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank, NJ 07701.
