Longtime Fair Havenite Thomas Cusick passed away peacefully at Riverview Medical Center on Jan. 31, “leaving behind an incredible legacy.” He was 99.

“In his downtime, Tom enjoyed gardening and planted many beautiful flower gardens in his yard …

“An athlete at heart, Tom played point guard for his Red Bank Catholic basketball team. Tom was an avid bowler, participating in numerous leagues throughout Monmouth County. He was an accomplished fast-pitch softball pitcher throughout much of his adult life for the Red Bank Tigers and a UPS team that included his sons, Tom and Kevin. Tom was also an enthusiastic Yankee and Ranger fan and napped everyday so he could watch every game!

“He will be missed dearly and always remembered.”
