Little Silver resident and Red Bank Catholic High School (RBC) graduate Lisa Marascio died on Wednesday, March 6. She was 69.
After graduating from RBC, Lisa attended The American College in Lucerne, Switzerland and The Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC, where she won The Critic’s Award for Sportswear and earned an associate’s degree of applied science in Fashion Apparel Design.

“A trailblazer in fashion design, she went on to work as a designer for Sak’s Fifth Avenue’s Private Label and Product Development for Merona Oxford Industries.

“She married the love of her life, John Venere, moved to upstate New York and enjoyed a life full of laughter, joy and A LOT of antiques and collectibles!!”
Lisa was predeceased by: her parents, Emily and Victor Marascio; her sister, Lynda Heffernan; and her husband, John Venere.
She is survived by her sister, Sandy Post.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
