Fair Haven- and Shrewsbury-raised Emily Kaeli, a beloved daughter, sister and aunt, left this world on Saturday, July 13, after a valiant four-year and eight-month battle with a rare form of spinal cancer.
Born at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, Emily grew up in Shrewsbury and Fair Haven. She was educated at Holy Cross Academy in Rumson, Red Bank Regional High School (RBR) in Little Silver, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA.
Emily was a Senior Division Director at Beacon Hill, a leading national firm which sets the standard in workforce consulting, professional staffing, project delivery solutions and job placement. At Beacon Hill, Emily had an illustrious career and was esteemed for delivering the highest quality temporary talent to clients in the New York marketplace by partnering with leading companies in the private equity, hedge fund, financial services, consulting, fashion, real estate and media industries. An expert in temporary staffing for administrative and support level positions, Emily had earned a reputation for outstanding client service, unparalleled market knowledge, and high quality placements.
Prior to joining Beacon Hill, Emily was a managing director at Glocap Search, a New York-based search firm, where she developed and successfully led the company’s national temporary staffing practice for administrative support for nearly a decade, all while serving as a top individual producer and role model to the staff she hired, trained and mentored.
Emily initially established her career in staffing as recruiting director at Atrium Staffing, a leading boutique agency headquartered in New York City, where she worked for four years focusing exclusively on administrative placements.
Emily is survived by: her mother; her siblings, Shannon de Boissard, of London, England, William T. Kaeli, Jr. (Julie), of Philadelphia, PA, Christopher S. Kaeli (Betsy), of Monmouth Beach; four nephews and two nieces, Axel, Hugo, Annabelle, Everett, Oscar, and Beatrix; and her precious cavapoo, Teddy.
She was preceded in death by her father William T. Kaeli, Sr.
In keeping with Emily’s wishes, her family will host a celebration of her remarkable life with joyful memories and laughter at Monmouth Beach Bath and Tennis Club, 65 Ocean Avenue, Monmouth Beach, on Friday, July 26, from 2 to 5 p.m. Colorful summer attire is requested.
