Summer coming to an end doesn’t mean the heat is off of DWI checkpoints. The Monmouth County DWI Task Force has announced a checkpoint for Friday through early Saturday morning.
These DWI checkpoints are publicized in accordance with the law.

On Friday night, Sept. 22, in Red Bank …
Starting at 10 p.m. and running through 2 a.m. on Saturday, all vehicles traveling north on Route 35 will be diverted into the M&T Bank parking lot, just south of Navesink River Road.
There, Red Bank police and DWI Task Force members will screen drivers for sobriety.
