They not only danced the night away, the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Class of ’73 celebrated its 50th reunion with a full weekend of re-connecting.
Yes, that’s half a century. Yet, this crew is still in top partying shape, like it’s still 1973. The three-day gala had fewer “frees” sprinkled in than the senior schedule at RFH back in the day.
Classmates last Friday night kicked off the weekend with a little casual pre-main event reacquainting at the Eventide Grille in Sea Bright. The next morning, they took an RFH tour and got involved in a panel discussion at the high school.
The reuniting and relearning culminated in a main event at Salt Creek Grill on Saturday night. And on Sunday there was a wind-down picnic with pickle ball at Victory Park in Rumson. Phew! That’s a lot of reuniting. And they did it all with a good-sized apropos 70-something crowd.
Here’s a glimpse into the main event at Salt Creek, courtesy of the reunion committee’s Bill Davidson and photographer Jeremy Tyree.
