Call it just another local’s summer boat ride. It’s the scalding sun before the storm on the Shrewsbury River.

The scene …

It’s peaceful. It’s mighty scenic. It’s iconic. It’s reminiscent of all that soothes and is local — like good times and on and around Rumson’s Gunning Island and the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge. It’s those thoughts that will always ease those aches that come with cold weather thoughts — or chill you out quite well.

So, sit back, enjoy the ride and dream on — island style, of course.
