A drive through downtown Red Bank on Saturday was a sure way to be met by thousands of slightly soggy, spirited protesters.

Part of the nationwide Hands Off protest against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s DOGE policies and for upholding freedom of speech, those closest to or in Red Bank met at Riverside Gardens Park to spread their word … very vocally, signs and flags flailing.
Protesters, on the dank day, filtered from the central location and took it to the streets a little, too. A drive-by was met with honking horns and a whole lot of free speech — both sound and sight.
