Fourth of July weekend is approaching and another summer DWI checkpoint is set for Saturday, The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

On Saturday night, July 5, in Allenhurst …
Starting at 9 p.m. and running until 1 a.m. on Sunday, vehicles headed north on Main Street will be diverted onto Elberon Avenue. There, drivers will be screened by DWI Task Force members and Allenhurst police.
The DWI Task Force advises to “be sure to stay safe on the roads this Fourth of July weekend — avoid distractions, be mindful of your surroundings, and never get behind the wheel if intoxicated.”
