Mary Ann Kampfe will be back home in Fair Haven at the borough library on Thursday for a chat about and sign her book Dementia Dolls: A Daughter’s Story.
The discussion of the book based on Kampfe’s struggle in supporting her mother’s journey from independence to dementia starts at 7 p.m. The book was recently published by WiDo and has been touted as one filled with “joy and sorrow, triumph and regret” about the sandwich generation’s challenges. Kampfe was a longtime Fair Havenite and press release writer for the Rumson and Fair Haven school systems until recently.
Copies of Dementia Dolls: A Daughter’s Story will be available for purchase at the event. The Fair Haven Library is located in the Fair Haven Borough Building at 748 River Road. For additional information, please contact the author at [email protected].
