There’s a new police patrol officer in town. Stephanie Lehner was sworn in to the Rumson Police Department at the July 10 Borough Council meeting.

Lehner, now a patrol officer, has been a Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II with the Rumson PD for the past year. Prior to that, she was a Class II officer with the Asbury Park Police Department.

“Here is to a long and safe career,” a post on Rumson PD’s Facebook page said.
