There’s been a break in the heat, but not summer DWI checkpoints. There will be two this weekend, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced via the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
DWI Checkpoint Details
On Friday, July 19, in Monmouth Beach …
Starting at 10 p.m. and running through 2 a.m. on Saturday, all vehicles headed south on Ocean Avenue will be diverted into the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center parking lot where DWI Task Force members and Monmouth Beach police will screen drivers for sobriety.
On Saturday, July 20, in Sea Girt …
Starting at 9 p.m. and running through 1 a.m. on Sunday, all vehicles headed south on Route 71 will be diverted into the Sea Girt Professional Building parking lot where drivers will be screened for sobriety by DWI Task Force members and Sea Girt police.
