A Retro RFH Pals’ Fall Skate II

Well, the soggy state of the area lately has been drying up and making way for some falling for fall activity — or not falling. In the last Retro Pic of the Day, we offered a glimpse back into RFH skateboarders doing some impressive balancing acts on the boards on an area street. Yes, it was Sycamore.
Turns out it was a weekly (or more) occurrence at the hands and boards of a few RFH pals.

There has long been a debate in the Rumson-Fair Haven area about the merits and menaces inherent in skateboarding as a sport.
In the late 1990s and 2000, a contingent of parents and teens rallied for a skate park in Fair Haven. And there was also a group as enthusiastically opposed as supporters were supportive.
