Former longtime Monmouth Beach resident, Patricia “Trish” Masica, more recently of Toms River, passed away at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch “after a long, courageous battle with cancer.” She was 55.

Prosecutor: Former Shore Regional Business Administrator Pleads Guilty to Theft Charges
The former business administrator for the Shore Regional High School District pleaded guilty on Monday to a series of charges related to the theft of school funds, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.
