An eight-month investigation into widespread illegal narcotics distribution throughout Monmouth County has resulted in 17 arrests and the seizure of drugs worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on the street, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Monday.

Police Report Several Marijuana Possession Arrests & More
The following recent arrests were made and reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
• Alexander Gaita, 24, of Middletown, was arrested on July 2 in the area of Morford Place and charged with hindering apprehension, possession of a CDS (under 50 grams of marijuana), receiving stolen property and contempt of court by Patrolman John Camarca.
• A juvenile male, 13, of Red Bank was arrested on July 1 in the area of E. Westside Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS (under 50 grams of marijuana) by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.
• Sayyied Rida, 36, of Middletown was arrested on July 1 in the area of River Street on a contempt of court charge by Ptl. Nicholas Maletto.
• James Gaudio, 18, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, Michael Walker, 18, of Middletown, Dominic Carrea,18, of the Leonardo section of Middletown, and Cameron Docherty, 18, of Middletown, were arrested on July 1 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS (under 50 grams of marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman George Travostino.
