The following July criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
- A resident on July 31 reported that they may have been a victim of wire fraud. S/O Michael Traina took the report.
- Two juveniles on July 14 reported their beach cruiser style bicycles were stolen from the area of Rumson Road and Ward Avenue. S/O Traina took the report.
- An East River Road business reported on July 8 a fraudulent transfer of funds from business banking accounts. S/O Michael Traina took the report.
Arrests
- Peter Kardasis, 42, of Hackensack, was arrested in the area of Rumson and Hance roads on July 20 and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Patrolman James Camilleri.
