Rumson police on Nov. 25 released security camera photos and a statement regarding early morning Nov. 24 “attempted home entries.” They asked that residents remain on high alert for suspicious activity and review security cameras.
The attempted entries occurred between the hours of 4 and 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 24 at two homes in the area of Shrewsbury Drive and Navesink Avenue.
Both invasion/entry attempts were unsuccessful. “No entry was gained to either home,” but images were captured and residents are asked to review their cameras and report any information to Rumson police at 732-842-0500.
Police asked that residents “please continue to ensure that homes and vehicles are locked, and alarms are activated. Report suspicious activity to the Rumson Police Department immediately.”
