Curtain up and enter stage right!
With the masked pandemic time RFH Tower Players’ debut on Friday of its first-time outdoor show, it’s only right to pay tribute to the RFH stage and show time entrances gone by.
So. the Retro Pic(s) of the (George) Day are dedicated to a showtime back in the 1970s.
It was the 1974 RFH Freshmen Follies — a talent show involving both dedicated and novice actors, singers, dancers, comedians and just plain hams, including teachers.
These pics are of a few RFHers and a teacher making their entrances from stage right.
Here we see RFHer Joey Jones, teacher Geoffrey Blake sporting his hip curly hair, and a few students sprinkled in the mix.
Recognize anyone? What a show it was! Yes, there’s no biz like show biz!
More on the Emma! experience later.
Congrats, Tower Players on yet another opening of another spring musical show at RFH against all pandemic odds!
Thanks, once again, to George Day for the fabulous memories on film!
