Skeletal remains have been found on a Wall Township property and, as an investigation ensues, authorities advise that the public should stay away from the area and no danger has been posed to the community.
In a joint released statement, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago and Wall Township Police Chief Sean O’Halloran said that investigators from both units “are currently conducting an investigation on the 1100 block of Narrumson Road in Wall Township. We can confirm that a portion of skeletal remains was located on the property while work was being conducted yesterday.”
Beyond the confirmation of the finding, authorities added that “it would be immensely improper for our office or the Wall Township Police Department to provide further information or details at this time, given the need for further forensic analysis.”
More information will be provided as it becomes available, they added.
