An early morning Sunday crash in Howell has resulted in one fatality, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 2:53 a.m., Howell police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 9 and Aldrich Road. The crash resulted in the fatality of a currently unnamed male driver, 69, of Lakewood.
Authorities are seeking witnesses.
The crash is currently under investigation by members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and the Howell Police Department.
