An area man has been arrested and charged with a bank robbery in Bradley Beach, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago and Bradley Beach Police Department Chief James Arnold announced on Wednesday.
Demauriea A. Gray, 30, of Eatontown, was charged with one count of first-degree robbery stemming from the bank robbery.

On Monday, Oct. 27, at 2:50 p.m., Bradley Beach police responded to the Chase Bank on Main Street on a report of a robbery.
Upon arrival, police learned that an adult male had entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The male left with more than $10,000 in cash and fled the scene.
An investigation was quickly launched involving Bradley Beach and Avon-by-the-Sea police departments, MCPO Major Crimes Bureau detectives, and agents at the Federal Bureau of Investigation/Red Bank Office, which resulted in Gray being identified as the suspect.
Gray was arrested a short time later by Bradley Beach and Avon-by-the-Sea police.
He was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI), in Freehold, where he is currently being held pending his initial appearance in Monmouth County Superior Court.
