The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 21. The victim reported that $1,029 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft in the area of Adams Way on Feb. 23. The victim reported that $385 worth of property was stolen.
Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 23. The victim reported merchandise was taken by an unknown person or people.
Sgt. Tracy Polk is investigating.
Arrests
• Thomas J. Nebia, 56, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 5 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Angel Marrero.
**Police reported two arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
