Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Jan. 14. Two males were reportedly seen cutting through th parking lot of a business and one was allegedly seen breaking a window valued at $200.

• A theft in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Jan. 12. A person described as a heavy set black male in his early 30s wearing a black and gray hoody with black jeans was reportedly seen taking a bottle of Svedka Vokda valued at $15.99 from a store.

• An incident of theft in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Jan. 11. It was reported that the rear license plate of a parked vehicle was stolen.

• An incident of theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on Jan. 10. A Steve Madden brown leather men’s wallet, containing a NJ driver’s license and $400 in cash, was reportedly stolen from an unlocked parked vehicle.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 8. It was reported that a large window to a business, valued at $1,500, was broken.

Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.

• An incident of theft was reported in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 7. A white male, approximately 30 and six feet tall, with slight facial hair, wearing a wool hat, gray sweat pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt and carrying a backpack was reportedly seen taking items from a store.
