Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• There was a report of a theft from a garage on River Road on July 23. The victim reported that someone stole a garbage bag full of sporting equipment and a children’s bicycle valued at roughly $100.

• There was a report of a theft from a locker at a Maple Avenue business on July 24. The victim reported that someone removed his wallet, containing approximately $20 in cash and a silver Verizon iPhone, valued at $450, from his unsecured locker.

• There was a report of a theft from a motor vehicle parked in the area of Leonard Street on July 20. The victim reported that he a Garmin GPS, valued at $200, various tools, valued at $100, and loose change totaling about $5 were stolen from his vehicle.

• There was a report of the theft, on or about July 14, of a louver, valued at $260,  from a Dodge Challenger parked overnight on West Front Street.

• There was a report of a bicycle theft that occurred sometime between July 14 and 16. The victim reported that his bicycle, valued at roughly $250, was stolen from a fenced area on Morford Place

Patrolman Sean Hauschildt took the report.

• There was a report of an incident of criminal mischief on July 9. The victim reported that a stone statue, located on a Prospect Avenue residential property and valued at approximately $3,500, had been overturned by an unknown subject.

• There was a report of a theft from a cabbie on July 6. A cab driver reported that while he was driving two passengers, approximately $120 in cash was stolen from an envelope located in the front seat his vehicle.

• There was a report of a bicycle theft in the area of Water Street on July 6. The victim reported that he parked his bicycle and secured it to a rack; and, after returning, he found that the bike, valued at $300, had been stolen by an unknown subject.

• There was a report of a bicycle theft from the area of West Bergen Place on July 6. The victim reported that his unsecured bicycle, valued at $360, was taken from the rear of a business in the area.
