The following March criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• The shoplifting of multiple grocery items, valued at $89.59, from a Broad Street store was reported on March 30.
Patrolman Piero Vescio took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on March 29. The owner of a building reported graffiti spray painted in blue.
Patrolman Ashon Lovick took the report.
• The theft of a black wallet with $800 in cash and several credit cards in it and a set of keys from the area of Warf Avenue was reported on March 26.
Patrolman Taylor Doremus took the report.
• The theft of silver necklace with two pendants, valued at $400, and $200 in cash was reported stolen from the area of Riverview Plaza.
Sgt. Garrett Falco took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of West Bergen Place was reported on March 13. The owner of a business reported lettering sprayed on the building with blue spray paint.
Patrolman Nicholas Maletto took the report.
• The theft of a sign, valued at $125, from a vehicle in the area of English Plaza was reported on March 12.
SLEO Domenick Fanelli took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on March 12. The owner of a business reported black lettering in spray paint on the fence and rear wall of the business.
Patrolman Froilan Hernandez took the report.
• The shoplifting of four bottles of laundry detergent, valued at $71.96, from a Water Street store on March 8.
Patrolman Shane Dengel took the report.
Arrests
• Michael Godard, 36, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on March 31 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Joseph Caprio, 51, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Oakland Street on March 29 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Froilan Hernandez.
• Mary Connors, 71, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Catherine Street on March 29 and charged with theft by deception by Detective Paul Perez.
• Fredy Roque-Moreira, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Chestnut Street on March 28 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Gianluca Bartoli, 23, of Rockaway Beach, NY, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on March 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer by Patrolman Andrew Todd.
• Julio Torrentera, 20, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 22 and charged with theft, contempt of court, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), obstructing the administration of law and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.
• Samuel Gomez, 54, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 21 and charged with obstructing the administration of law and contempt of court by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Theodore Rennard, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of East Front Street on March 19 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Maria Tiro-Barrios, 52, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Locust Avenue on March 11 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.
• Roberto Bran-Castillo, 42, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Catherine Street on March 5 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.
• Joseph Fredericks, 36, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Hubbard’s Bridge on March 3 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Matthew Hoskins, 35, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on March 3 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
