The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• A shoplifting in the area of Broad Street was reported on April 18.
Patrolman Tyer Fox is investigating.
• An incident of fraud in the area of Broad Street was reported on April 14. The victim reported that someone used fraudulent cards to make $628.20 worth of purchases.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
Arrests
• Lorne D. Bartee, 53, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Avenue at the Commons on April 10 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolmn Kyle Ludwig.
• Christopher A. Muckley, 31, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on April 8 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ralph Latham.
**Police reported three arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
