The following recent arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

• Firdous Z. Abdullah, 32, of Farmingdale, was arrested on May 18 in the area of Broad Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Paul J. Bode, 52, of Toms River, was arrested on May 18 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Judith L. Crescente, 43, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, was arrested on May 13 in the area of Sycamore Avenue and charged with shoplifting and contempt of court by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

Contempt of Court 

• Eleanor Mancle, 25, of Neptune, was arrested on May 18 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Jennifer M. Dawsey, 24, of Newark, was arrested on May 17 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Ieterrah L. Grimes, 25, of Neptune, was arrested on May 17 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
