The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of a forgery in the area of Broad Street on Sept. 14. The victim reported that an unknown person or people fabricated and cashed checks totaling $3,400.
Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.
Arrests
• Carlo Manetto, 52, of Manasquan, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Sept. 21 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Kyle Ludwig.
• Jaleel D. Wayman, 22, of Dover, DE, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Sept. 18 as a fugitive from justice by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
• Nikeya T. Anderson, 30, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Sept. 20 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
• Donna M. Valente, 45, of Ocean, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Sept. 20 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Derek Myers.
• Shaquela E. Brodie, 27, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Sept. 15 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.
• Timothy J. Perkins, 23, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Sept. 12 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Derek Myers.
• Rashaan A. Sims, 33, of New York, NY, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Sept. 3 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
