Police Report: $1,400 Theft, Aggravated Assault, Graffiti, Catalytic Converter Thefts, Weapons Possession, Bike Thefts

The following November criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of the contents of an Amazon package, valued at $20, from the area of River Street was reported on Nov. 26.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of West Front Street was reported on Nov. 26. A bench was tagged with black marker and another building on the property was tagged red marker.

Patrolman Darren McConnell took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of West Bergen Place was reported on Nov. 25. A tree was tagged with black spray paint.

Patrolman Piero Vescio took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the area of West Sunset Avenue was reported. The owner reported the front bumper was damaged and hanging off of a vehicle.

• The theft of an Amazon package, the contents of which were valued at $22, from the area of Evergreen Terrace was reported on Nov. 16.

• The theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle on Wallace Street was reported on Nov. 12.

• The theft of a blue Giant ATX Small bicycle, valued at $530, from the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Nov. 8.

• The theft of an Amazon package, the contents of which were valued at $90, from the area of Spring Street was reported on Nov. 8.

• The theft of two Amazon packages, one valued at $22 and the other at $10, from a Spring Street residence was reported on Nov. 8.

• The theft of two bronze candle lanterns, valued at $50 each, from the area of Broad Street was reported on Nov. 7.

• The theft of a black leather bi-fold wallet containing a NJ state ID card, a debit card, $40 in cash, several gift cards and ChapStick, from the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Nov. 5.

• The theft of several items, valued at $29, from a Maple Avenue business was reported on Nov. 4.

Patrolman Eliot Ramos took the report.

• The theft of three credit cards and a state-issued ID from the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Nov. 1.

Arrests

• Pedro Martinez-Garcia, 39, of Keyport, was arrested in the area of Deforest Avenue on Nov. 30 and c charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman James McGee.

• Eugene Bryson, 67, of Hazlet, was arrested in the area of Hubbard Avenue on Nov. 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.

• Ryan Carpenito, 45, of Little Silver, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Nov. 18 and charged with theft of property by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli. 11 contempt

• Gerald Holeman, 63, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Nov. 28 and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Ryan Eckardt, 25, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of W. Sunset Avenue on Nov. 13 and charged with unlawful possession of weapons and contempt of court by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Mario Ponce-Gaspar, 34, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Nov. 12 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.

• Jennifer McLeod, 57, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of South Street on Nov. 10 and charged with aggravated assault by Patrolman Christian Nelson.

• Marcos Vera-Flores, age 28 of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Worthley Street on nov. 10 and charged with aggravated assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Luis Rodriguez-Martinez, 46, of Long Branch, was arrested ion the area of Leighton Avenue on Nov. 10 and charged with hindering apprehension and driving while suspended by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Carlos Ramirez, 46, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Chestnut Street on Nov. 9 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Jose Galindo-Campos, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Nov. 9 and charged with simple assault by Lt. Jorge Torres.

• Waymon Smith, 57, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of West Bergen Place on Nov. 8 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Anthony Sosa, 23, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Warf Avenue on Nov. 3 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
