The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
• Michael Kiernan, 61, of Monmouth Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Aug. 13 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.
He was released pending a court date.
• Jeffrey Rodre, 18, of Chapman Terrace in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 15 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with simple assault.
He was released pending a court date.
• Edward Gross, 26, of Nautilus Drive in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 13 by Detective Albert Scott and charged with shoplifting and conspiracy.
He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Paul Ortiz, 52, of Ocean Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 12 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, shoplifting, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools and possession of crack cocaine.
He was held on $11,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• David O’Connor, 44, of Abbey Road in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
He was released pending a court date.
• Christian Bykovets, 20, of Princeton Street in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with possession of alcohol by minors.
He was released pending a court date.
• Travis Cifrodella, 27, of Dogwood Place in Holmdel, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
He was released pending a court date.
• Ralph Johnston, 29, of East Highland Avenue in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
He was released pending a court date.
• Ryan Hoffer, 26, of Rutledge Drive in Red Bank, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute and conspiracy.
He was held on $40,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Alicia Malone, 25, of Deepdale Drive in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 17 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of Ambien.
She was released after posting $20,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Christopher Kuhlmeier, 44, of Willow Street in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 19 by Cpl. Thomas Meckier and charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was held on $20,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Christopher Sclavunos, 35, of Frazee Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on Aug. 19 by Detective William Strohkirch and charged with burglary and theft.
He was held on $10,000, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

He was held on $10,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Edward McCall, 19, of Route 35 in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 18 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with attempted sexual assault, enticing a child into a motor vehicle or structure and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was held on $350,000 bail, set by Judge Katie Gummer of the Monmouth County Superior Court.
• Ronald Shopp, 28, of Elm Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 18 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin.
He was held on $10,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Robert Ellis, 26, of Navesink Avenue in Highlands, was arrested on Aug. 19 by Police Officer Erica Weeks and charged with harassment.
He was released after posting $500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• On Aug. 20, Patrolman John Walsifer arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• On Aug. 20, Patrolman John Walsifer arrested a 12-year-old male juvenile from Atlantic Highlands and charged him with burglary and criminal mischief.
He was released pending a court date.
• Thomas Schnoor, 19, of Glenmary Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletwon, was arrested on Aug. 20 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Brendan Keene, 22, of Bray Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 21 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).
He was released pending a court date.
• On Aug. 20, Detective Daniel Sullivan arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile of the Belford section of Middletown and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Robert T. Sydnor, 22, of High Ridge Road in Stony Point, NY, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct.
He was released after posting $1,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Robert W. Sydnor, 49, of High Ridge Road in Stony Point, NY, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
He was released after posting $1,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Jenna Hwang Cooper, 26, of Gordon Court in Middletown, ws arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

• Alexander Giuriceo, 20, of Greenfield Way in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with theft.
He was held on $5,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Daniel Franey, 25, of Clarendon Place in Bloomfield, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and simple assault.
He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option set by Judge Richard Thompson.
• Evan Savulich, 19, of Harmony Road in Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released pending a court date.
• Edwin Calva Gaona, 26, of Huntington Avenue in Neptune, was arrested on Aug. 22 by Patrolman John Mele and charged with obstructing the administration of law.
He was released pending a court date.
• Crystal Cadalzo, 32, of 9th Street in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Aug. 24 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with possession of hypodermic syringes.
She was released pending a court date.
