“We will miss Nancy with the laughing face.”
That’s how the loved ones of Nancy Fell-Hill described the 59-year-old Rumson resident who passed away at her home on Dec. 22 at 59.
“Nancy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; shopping with friends, going to the beach, hosting game nights, and spending time with her family and pets,” they reminisced in her obituary.
The daughter of the late Dr. Rev. Gilbert S. Fell and Beverley J. Ellis, Nancy was born on Aug. 2, 1960 in Atlantic City.
A 1978 graduate of Henry Hudson Regional High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from what was then Monmouth College. Nancy went on to receive her MPH from Rutgers University and worked as an IRB administrator and was very passionate about the protection of human subjects in research. She was publicized six times related to her field.
She is survived by: her loving husband, Douglas; her twins, Tavish and Kaitlin; her sisters, Karen (Gordon) Powers and Linda Mertz; her stepmother, Janet Fell; her nieces, Shannon, Melissa, and Heather; and her nephews, Gordy and Timmy.
A memorial service is set for 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Posten-McGinley Funeral Home, 59 E. Lincoln Ave, Atlantic Highlands. Chapel Prayer service will be conducted at 3:30 pm. Internment will be private.
