Red Bank resident Kenneth G. Horne passed away peacefully on Sept. 15 after a long battle with prostate cancer, surrounded by this wife and two daughters. He was 68.
Ken was a graduate of Miami University and a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. “He was very passionate and dedicated during his 46 year career in the credit insurance industry where he made some of his lifelong friends.”
Ken is survived by: his wife of 40 years, Barbara; daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, Victoria, Brien and Quinn Truscott; daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter, Ashley, Chris and Brielle Napoli; sisters, Barbara and Debbie; and brother, sister-in-law and niece, Kevin, Christie and Ali.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents George and Alice Horne.
A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, Sept. 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Ken to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for prostate cancer research.
