Red Bank native and Red Bank Catholic High School (RBC) graduate, Jonathan Burden, passed away suddenly on Dec. 1 at his Red Bank home. He was 56.
Jonathan was born on Jan. 7, 1969, in Red Bank, to Mary Lou and Charles Burden. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 1987 and earned his chiropractic degree from Life College in Marietta, GA, in 1997. Jonathan was previously employed by North East Sport and Spine and most recently worked as a first responder.
“He was married to the love of his life, Jill, for 23 years, and together they raised two children, Anthony David and Molly Elizabeth. His greatest pride was his family, and the love he had for Jill and his children surpassed everything. Jonathan was an avid gardener and cook, and he truly had the gift of fixing anything. Most of all, he loved hiking with his beloved dogs and felt most at home in the solace of nature. Jonathan was thoughtful and kind, possessing an intelligence and quick wit that was second to none.”
