Longtime Red Bank resident, Wendy Lynn Moore, passed away peacefully at Riverview Medical Center on Saturday, Feb. 10. She was 59.

Wendy spent the majority of her childhood and adult life in Matawan and Red Bank.

“Wendy cherished her time with close friends and family and especially with her mother, Carol, who was her Best friend. To know her was to love her, and she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and colleagues.

“Wendy’s caring nature came across in the way that she approached her work and how she treated people; always calm, thoughtful and supportive. She was a gentle, warm, compassionate member of the Riverview Medical Center family. Her passing is a tremendous loss to Hackensack Meridian Health.”
She obtained her nursing degree from the Ann May School of Nursing and worked as an emergency room nurse prior to working as a legal nurse consultant for a large law firm in New York City.
In 2008, Wendy became Risk Manager of Riverview Medical Center where she spent the last 15 years.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at the John E. Day Funeral Home in Red Bank, with a service commencing at 7:30 p.m..
Donations may be made in Wendy’s name to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.
