Longtime Red Bank resident Barbara Arnone “was called to heaven on July 27,” surrounded by her family.
Barbara and her husband Michael graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School (RBC) in 1950. The high school sweethearts married in 1956 and settled in Red Bank where they raised their family.
Barbara worked in Michael’s Red Bank dental practice.
Barbara was predeceased by: her brothers, Thomas and Donald; her sisters, and lifelong cherished friends, Lois and Maureen (Wayne); and her sisters-in-law, Peggy and Donna.
She is survived by: her beloved husband of 67 years, Dr. Michael J. Arnone; her devoted sons and daughter, John (Jean), Suzanne, Mark, Paul (Dawn), and Michael (Dawn Marie); and her 11 grandchildren and great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at 9:30 a.m. at St. James Church, 94 Broad St, Red Bank. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Barbara.
