Longtime Little Silver resident, Theodore “Ted” Joseph Moss III, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 30. He was 72.
Born in Red Bank to Ted and Marguerite Moss, Ted retired from a long career with the United States Postal Service as the post master in Neptune.
Ted is predeceased by: his parents, Ted and Marguerite Moss.
He is survived by: his wife, Connee Moss, with whom he enjoyed 50 years of marriage; his children, Kelsey Moss, Ellie Moss and her husband, Sam Stamler, T.J. Moss and his wife, Kelly; a granddaughter, Ivy Marie Stamler; and four siblings, Kevin (Patricia) Moss, Brian (Carla) Moss, Carolyn (Jeff) McDaniel, and Marianne (Tom) Dunn.
Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. at Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to the Count Basie Center for the Arts at www.thebasie.org or Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton at https://www.catholiccharitiestrenton.org/.
