Longtime Little Silver resident Richard Fuschetti passed away on April 11, his wife and children by his side. He was 83.
Born in Newark, N.J. and raised in Union, Richard graduated from Seton Hall Prep and also from the University of Miami with a degree in business and finance. He co-founded Paramount Metal Finishers, Inc. and Microcast Technologies with his brother Vincent Fuschetti. They worked together for more than 50 years.
He is survived by: his wife and best friend of more than 60 years, Barbara; his three children, Paula Thorogood and husband Patrick, Richard J. Fuschetti and wife Ann Margaret, and Steven Fuschetti and wife Kathy; and his grandchildren, Michael and Brian Thorogood, Steven, Christopher, and Julie Fuschetti, and Ricky and Paul Fruschetti.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Michael Fuschetti and Pauline Fuschetti, and his brother, Vincent Fuschetti.
Richard was a communicant of The Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven.
He was a member of Deal Country Club for more than 20 years.
