In Memoriam: Little Silver Resident Jim Cox, 54

Little Silver resident James “Jim” William Cox passed away on Dec. 7 after a brief, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 54.

“Jim thoroughly enjoyed living at the shore, taking swims in the ocean (reminding him of his childhood in Rockaway) and hosting BBQ’s. An avid sports fan, history buff,  connoisseur of useless information, and he always knew the score of the game. Known by friends and colleagues for his friendliness, calm demeanor and understated sense of humor. Jim enjoyed life to the fullest. He dearly loved his family and his friends and  will be greatly missed by all who knew him.”
