Longtime Red Bank and Lincroft resident Michael A. Rieger passed away Sunday, May 1. He was 55.
Mike was born in Red Bank and raised in Lincroft, “where he enjoyed hunting quail with his beloved dogs in The Swimming River,” family said in his obituary. “This outdoorsy Eagle Scout” graduated from St. Leo the Great Elementary School, Christian Brothers Academy, and Rutgers University.
He went on to work at Bellcore, IBM and SubCom where he was the vice president of sales for fiber optics for the past 22 years.
He is survived by: his wife, Christine; his daughters, Alexandra and Jacqueline; his siblings, BethAnn Arena, Richard Rieger and Suzanne Dolan; his parents-in-law, James and Patricia Supino; sister-and brother-in-law, Adrienne Supino and Jon Mackay; and many loved nieces and nephews.
A service celebrating Mike’s life will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 11 a.m. at the Navesink Country Club.
