Lifetime Red Bank resident, Teresa M. Simplicio, passed away on Dec. 29. She was 87.

Teresa was born in Red Bank to Gabriel and Maria (Tropiano) Simplicio.

“She was a lifelong communicant of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Red Bank. Teresa was an employee of the Bendix Corporation in Eatontown. After Bendix closed, she was employed by Middletown Twp., NJ as a Tax Clerk until her retirement. Teresa provided care to her Mother and Sister Lucille after the passing of her Father. She enjoyed travelling especially to New England during the fall foliage. She looked forward every day to the social activities at Arbor Terrace Shrewsbury and Imperial Healthcare where she met many new friends playing bingo, trivia and listening to music.”

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Lucille E. Simplicio.
Teresa is survived by: her sister, Linda SImplicio-Dorn, of MD; cousins, Michael R. (Eileen) Maier, of Red Bank, William Maier, of Jacksonville, FL, JoAnn McNally, of Ocala FL, Joseph T. (Lori) Chevy, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Anthony M. (Tayaa) Chiaravalloti, of Boynton Beach, FL.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., Jan. 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, Red Bank.
Memorial donations in Teresa’s memory may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of America.
