The Fair Haven Firemen’s Fair opened on Friday night under clear skies and a blanket of tradition and hometown comfort.

A rite of passage for anyone who grew up in the Rumson-Fair Haven area, old friends reunited, children of Fair Haven Fire Company folks volunteered in their parents’ and grandparents’ stead and a good time was had by all.
