The following May criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Fair Haven police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• A River Road resident reported the theft of copper fixtures and a table valued at $800 from his truck on May 5. Sgt. Jesse Dykstra took the report.
Arrests
• A Rumson juvenile was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on May 21 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), and underage DWI. He was also issued traffic summonses for speeding, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to keep right.
The juvenile was processed and released to parents pending a Fair Haven Municipal Court appearance. Patrolman Brooks Robinson was the arresting officer.
• Christopher Toldero, 29, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on May 20 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Toldero was also issued traffic summonses for speeding and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
He was processed and released pending a Fair Haven Municipal Court appearance. Patrolman Brooks Robinson was the arresting officer.
• Maxwell Taffin, 19, of Rumson, was arrested on May 13 following a motor vehicle stop and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. Taffin also received traffic summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, maintenance of lamps, failure to exhibit insurance card and failure to exhibit driver’s license.
He was processed and released pending a Fair Haven Municipal Court Appearance. Patrolman Brooks Robinson was the arresting officer.
• A Fair Haven Juvenile was arrested on May 3 and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS) paraphernalia by Special Officer Michael Volker.
• Joseph L. Ruffini, 54, of Red Bank was arrested on May 4 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Christian Hostrup.
Contempt of Court
• David Poulard, 63, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant out of Freehold following a motor vehicle stop on May 31.
Pollard was processed and released after posting full cash bail. Patrolman John Koetzner was the arresting officer.
• Andrii Lutsak, 28, of Jersey City, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant out of Jersey City following a motor vehicle stop on May 28.
Lutsak was processed and released after posting full cash bail. Patrolman Eric Patton was the arresting officer.
• Freddy Tapia, 48, of Highlands, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant out of Asbury Park following a motor vehicle stop on May 16.
He was processed and turned over to the Asbury Park Police Department. Sgt. Jesse Dykstra was the arresting officer.
• Melanie Morrison, 32, of the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant following a motor vehicle stop on May 16.
She was processed and released after posting full cash bail. Patrolman Brooks Robinson was the arresting officer.
• Jordan Goldberg, 36, of Englishtown, was arrested on a contempt of court (COC) warrant out of Freehold following a motor vehicle stop on May 12.
Goldberg was processed and released after posting full cash bail. Patrolman Eric Patton was the arresting officer.
