Fair Haven Police Report: Theft, DWI, Methadone Possession

The following July criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Fair Haven police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A Hance Road resident reported the theft of a kayak from his property on July 4.

Patrolman Eric Patton took the investigation report.

• A Spruce Drive resident reported the theft of an IPhone 5s on July 17.

Special Officer Scott Bigelow is investigating.

• On July 22 a Lewis Lane resident reported fraudulent charges to a personal checking account.

Arrests

• Anne M. Denaria, 55, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on July 28 and charged with possession of methadone and driving under the influence of a CDS (methadone) by Patrolman Dwayne Reevey following a hit and run accident in Rumson.

She was processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Facility and held on $5,000 bail with no 10 percent option.

• Jeffrey J. Olson, 42, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on an active warrant after he was stopped for a speeding violation on July 29 by Patrolman Dwayne Reevey.

He was also issued a summons for driving while suspended. He posted full cash bail and was released pending a court date.

• Leon J. Mill, 53, of Long Branch was arrested on July 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), following a motor vehicle stop by Patrolman Dwayne Reevey. Mill was also issued summonses for reckless driving and failure to maintain lane.

He was released pending a July 14 court date.

 

• Jack Haywood, 19, of Rumson, was arrested on July 7 and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of a CDS with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop by Patrolman William Lagrotteria.

He was released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bail pending a July 14 court date.

** Driver, Joseph E. Seeman Jr., 20, Rumson was issued summonses for possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, possession of an open alcohol container in a motor vehicle, failure to stop or yield, failure to provide a valid registration card.

• Tyler E. Matthews, 25, of Lakewood, was arrested on an active warrant on July 14. He posted full cash bail and was released. Special Officer Scott Bigelow was the arresting officer.

 

• Jaquan S. Stewart, 22, of Freehold, was arrested on July 23 and charged with driving under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) during a DWI checkpoint stop by Patrolman Brooks Robinson. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
