Here are some quotes and details about the win that were just released:
“I am so proud of this group of young men for having faith in the coaching staff, themselves, and their teammates to stick together and believe that a championship was not only possible but attainable after a rocky start and numerous injuries,” said Bryan Batchler, who has coached the team to two Central Jersey Group II titles in his first two seasons as head coach. “We are blessed with tremendous community and administrative support and – most importantly – tough, intelligent players that know how to win and keep our tradition of success rolling.
“Back-to-Back, guys, YOU did it!”
The Bulldogs ended their season with a 9-3 record, giving Batchler a record of 20 wins and four losses over his first two seasons as head coach.
